From Tradition to Business

Andrés Gaviño is a family business, with a centenary tradition in the elaboration of traditional sweets from Seville. In the family house there were bread ovens, where Olive Oil Tortas had been baked since the XIX century, taking advantage of the residual heat after baking the daily bread. 
With the pass of the time, what started as a family tradition of making sweets for their own consumption and gifts to family and friends, has turned into a family company with a large production.
Nowadays, and without neglecting the craftsmanship and hand-made of all our products, the company has incorporated modern production processes with high standards of quality and control without the loss of traditional processing, what has allowed to export to several continents.

Our products are meant for those demanding clients who value quality. Therefore, we exclusively use natural ingredients, 100% vegetal origin and without any artificial coloring or preservatives.
Dr. Andrés Gaviño -founder of the company-, whose profession was pediatrics and who was aware of the importance of a healthy diet, considered inalienable the feature of the products he created and commercialized. This is what led us win several prizes and to receive recognitions in the pastry field.


The artisans Tortas are the specialty of Andrés Gaviño, they are hand made one by one, this is why, there is no two identical Tortas. This laborious procedure is the distinguishing feature essential to obtain the light and fine texture that has brought the prestige to our brand.
